Did you take the IAC and Map sensors off when you cleaned the TB? And do you still have the old TPS? Put it back on and see what happens. Also if you didn't remove the IAC and clean it also when you did the TB, do it. Do not push, pull, or twist the pintle of the IAC if you do decide to clean it.

Yea i removed the IAC, and cleaned it careful with Q-tips. I thought the IAC would only cause idle problems ? But i don't know, i'll try my old t.p.s. The truck has over 250,000 miles still had the org. holley t.p.s. from 95.I've never replaced any sensors on it Just oil changes and 3 tune-ups

IAC is only intended for idle control. i suppose if it opened and shut at higher rpm's it might make a little bit of difference, but not much.

i read that you have a 5 speed manual transmission, so its none of the usual automatic crap.

i also read that you replaced the TPS and it made no difference.

and that you get engine rpm surge at higher rpm's while driving down the road, sometimes with AC on and sometimes with AC off.

and that you're not having any idle problems.

how much rpm surge are we talking about ? a lot, like 500 rpm's, or just a little, like 100 rpm's.

IT's just alittle, 100 or so. Also when it's cold it dose it worst, it's like it's running out of gas starts bucking like, only if you run the rpms up. It only dose that for like a half mile couple blocks, then it won't do it nomore the rest of the day, I put the old t.p.s. back on i think it's worst with it, Got a mulitmeter think i'll get the chilton out, and check some sensors

any possibility that its the a/c compressor kicking on/off. it cycles on and off on every setting except off and heat.
