Default Which brand 14x3 air cleaner?

I am looking in to putting a 14x3 air cleaner back on to my truck but the air cleaner I had before seemed to make a lot of vacuum noise which is one of the reasons I took it off. So I can thinking maybe I had a bad seal which is why it was naking so much noise? Or is this just the nature of the beast with them? Thanks!

As long as the gasket was on the TB that noise is normal.

If you make the top of the TB flat (remove the walls around the holes, and the locating tabs) the sucking noise quiets down a lot. I could barely tell the difference between the stock filter and the 14x3

You will still have the annoying noise, especially in the cold months. It's only annoying to me, some like it.
