That looks about what he explained to me, said he had to drill a new hole for it to fasten on? Does that sound right? Thanks for the reply and name of the item, much appreciated.

i think those are just bolt on. no drilling.
should be pretty easy. you might have to jack the truck up and down, maybe pull the axle sideways a tad with a prybar or jack-strap. more or less the same as changing the track bar.
