I've got a 1996 Dodge That I bought 7 years ago with 112K miles on it it currently has 140K miles on it and burn ZERO oil between 3K oil changes.

So far so good... I guess my plenum gasket is good...

For whatever reason, it is not as common a problem for 94-96's. Same goes for the RH tranny's.

yea mine had 172,XXX when i bought it...lmao now its got 197,XXX and i lose oil like its cool...it usually steadies out though. like ill fill it up at the oil change like normal, i'll be good for a while, then before the next oil change, it drops to like 3/4 on the stick. but it only drops to 3/4 and stays there, doesnt go any lower. its weird

I am sorry I am digging up this old thread but sense I started this one I didn't want to start a new one. I switched to synthetic oil I checked it today and was 1qt low at 4000mi. I don't have any leaks that drip on the ground I see where my pan and rear main is a little bit wet. I cant see any oil burning. I thought it could be a pvc valve but could it loose that much oil from a pvc or the plenum gasket but dont know? Where should I start looking for the missing oil? I have a kegger I am modding I am just waiting till it warms up to put it on. should I worry about 1 qt in 4000MI?
