V10 Exhaust Question
#12
My V10 with the Borlas sounds awesome. Duals on the V10 are difficult because of the really large 34 gallon tank that takes up almost the entire left side, but I don't think you'd gain much, if anything, from duals on this engine. It just wasn't built for much beyond being a totally kick-*** towing machine. Here's an exhaust system I found on eBay for the V10:

I have a 1995 dodge v10 and i went to the muffler shop and they hooked me up with magna flow dual exhaust. i dont know about yall but i like my exhaust to have a real deep tone and raise some hell at times so after awhile i just cut the mufflers off and straight piped it. Sounds awesome like helms said a v6 on steroids. very unique sound though.

Wow old thread here...LOL But i'll post for people searching.
I had Lous custom exhaust go through just about every Flowmaster they had, they all sounded like crap except for the 40.
And no it doesn't sound like the 40 on the v-8....
It's got a very low rumble at idle almost like a purr.
Setup is 1 header into each CAT both CATs into FM40 dual pipes go straight out the back end of the truck.
