I doubt 2 or 3" drop will work unless your trailer has a tall tongue or big tires. With our 5x8 utility trailer with 13" wheels or is it 14" I had to get a pretty big drop hitch. I have a 3" lift and 33"s. I had to get mine from the trailer place as the biggest one Wal-Mart and Advance Auto sold was too short. I want to say mine is a 8" drop but it might only be a 5" drop. I'm not sure. A local trailer place was the only local place I could find it and it's a pretty big drop. The adjustable ones at Advance Auto and Wal-Mart wouldn't adjust far enough down. This thing has worked perfect for every trailer I've tried to tow and keeps them all pretty level.

 

I have notpicked it up yet. Ill go get it after work tomorrow.

Ill hook it up to my buddys sled bed and see what it looks like and ill let you guys know
