Default Black Headlight Assembly

I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 sport, I am wanting to find black headlight housing for it. I can find many options for non-sport dodge rams, but none for sports. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some for my truck.

Sports have pretty much zero aftermarket options for headlights, unfortunately.

I'm curious as to whether you could take the clear lens off and paint the inside black with a highly reflective paint....then install it back with superglue

You many highly transparent or highly reflective?

Reflective would black out the entire headlight and make it unusable, might as well not even install bulbs in it!

nah not the lens, just the housing....leave the lens clear.....but after i think about it...its prolly not a good idea to spray flammable paint in a high heat headlight housing

You could probably do a custom job and rip the headlight housing apart but just make sure to seal them back up real well or else they will just get water in them and be all foggy anyways.

It sounds like a pretty sweet idea though.
