Long story short I got shot at by an eight year old today, and now I am hunting down parts for my truck

Dang. That sucks. I'd have blown up all over that kid. Then again, I'm not having kids and I like trucks more than kids so....

My dad taught me to shoot when I was 7 years old. He taught me with a Ruger .22 semi-auto pistol. I never once turned that gun or one of my pellet guns on anyone or anything of value. One time, I was shooting my pellet gun straight up in the air in the backyard, my dad caught me and beat my a**. I deserved it though cause I was dumb then.

 

That's funny as hell. When I was a kid we use to have BB gun wars. and I mean real bbs to not those plastic ones(paintball was too expensive) I'd be kinda pissed if my truck got shot, but at least it's not that bad. I've still got a couple of those thing embedded in various parts of my body.

 

I can't really get pissed at him just for the fact that it was mainly my fault that it happened. I shouldn't have let him use it while I had my back turned. Lesson learned...... I do know the next time I let him use the gun, it will be a different story, and the truck will be in the garage.....

I am still amazed that that little air soft gun could do that damage. Hell the second pic, if you look at it, the bb had to rebound off of something to hit it head on like it did.

 

Get him a co2 gun next!

 

Trust me, its going to be awhile until he graduates to anything else.

 

wow,,, on the hvac he just hit the right spot, i just looked on one i had sitting around and theres only few places that a bb would go thought and that was one of them!!!

 

You wanna get rid of one of those???

And yea I think that is the area where the shift lights would have been on a manual truck.
