you can drive it like it is, i just wouldn't push her too hard. so towing something to and from church every sunday will not be a big deal, but loading her up with a skid-steer and hitting all the hills in town wont be a good idea. I had my whole longblock replaced under warranty on my truck at 40xxx miles because of 2 scored cylinders. They said to get it fixed asap, but i went on 2 trips to northern MN (250 miles each way) fishing towing the boat before i got her into the dealer.

i never saw your other thread, but i would think that its prob one of your valves messed up......but then again it could have ground and really screwed up your wall
