my buddy has a 2001 ford f250 diesel quad cab with a huge loaded tool box in the bed. i have a 1997 ram 1500 extended cab short bed 5.2 318. both trucks are bone stock. just a fun race. what you guys think will happen???

I can attest that a 1997 ram 5.2 4x4 will out run a 2001 ford 5.4 4x4. I have done it in mine

 

i dont know....i seriously doubt it tho......her truck is extremely torquey throughout the rpms....how do you know the truck was a 5.4?

 

First time I went against one, it was a friend of mine. The last one was a guy that was on the highway jacking with me, and it had the 5.4 badges.
