Default I might be crazy

I've been out of the states and away from my truck for almost 15 months now and I think I'm about to completely lose my mind. Not only do I have thousands of dollars worth of planned mods for my truck, but I've been thinking or rather almost obsest with the idea of some how, possibly, getting customed made ram boxes installed on my truck. I've been thinking about the idea since the day the 2009 ram 1500 was unvailed because I really do like those but of course, our beds are made nothing like the 4th gen trucks. Just thought I'd throw my completely random idea out there and see what ya'll think of it.

Well your gonna loose a little space in your bed. Could just go get a 09 ram and call it done.

Yea I could but where's the fun in that? Besides, I can't get rid of my 2nd gen, love the truck too much and can't afford two trucks, lol.

Could get side rail utility boxes but then that still not a cool as the ram box.

I know how you feel. I won't want to lose all those fun long weekends working on the truck just to start over.

You might try tooling around the net on this one. I remember quite awhile ago, there was a small company that made a fiberglass "ram box" bed for our trucks..... I dont remember the name of the company though....

I have also had this idea when th '09s came out. But now I think in the future I might do something like the Nissan Titans so I dont lose any bed space.

Nissan had a nice idea there, but it really isn't worth it IMO. Our titan has one of those and it's too small to fit anything important in, it's a pain in the a$$ to open and close, and it's not 100% waterproof.

Get a reading box. Or flat bed it. Or you could cut out the fender and get one that goes under the body. Like on dump trucks.

Well, I bet I could fit some tow straps or my hitch in there. I could also hide my stash!
BTW I would make sure it would be waterproof and easy to open. Mine doesnt have to be mass-produced.
