Fog light wiring
So it looks like the guy who owned the truck before had something else in mind besides fog lights so they are all unwired and i cant follow anything he had going all the wires are different colors and everything, and its suposse to be an easy process, or so i thought. so i decided that im just going to rewire the whole thing, has anyone done this before or know how to do it, or if there is a DIY thing that i missed idk. but any help would be greatly appriciated thanks in advance guys.

I installed some Hella F400 or F500 I forget which. I used a relay and a switch from pep boys. I really like the switch, peel and stick, and I pasted it next to the headlight switch. The lights are so powerful a bud told me I can weld with them. I only use them for fog and when I have to light some idiot up. There is no way I can drive with them normally they are just to bright. Good luck with your lights. If you need I can paste some pictures of my Lights, relay, and the switch.

Holy crap, that is a mess. If it were me, I would just tear out all the wiring and start over. If you start over, you would have the opportunity to make it a clean install, and more than likely you could make use of the factory wiring system instead of have a mouse nest of wires like you have now...

Re you sure that white wire is not the manual disarm/programming buttonfor the alarm?
If you cut this wire and it is you'll @#&k up your alarm. I would just hard wire (direct wire) it as previously sttd. Good luck
anyone with photo's of an 01 1500 with driving lights not attached to a bumper guard I would like suggestions also the stock bumper's openings are too small .
