I went to their site and saw that they sell a magnum throttle adapter. Did you need to buy that also? I tried to call them but got a message saying no one could answer so my call would now be disconnected.

Guys, settle down a little. According to his sig he has a newer 4X2. Don't expect to see similar results with an older 4X4.

I'd still like to see a dyno between the 2. Not saying either is better but the proof is in the pudding. FWIW I noticed very little low end loss on my truck but it's also a 5 speed so maybe it's not as noticable.. If the Hughes is actually significantly better, I'd consider switching.

I got maybe 1 mpg better, tops. Maybe a tiny tiny little loss of low end, but not much. If you have a SCT tuner, you can probably have the timing advanced a bit in the low end to compensate.

What are your normal driving conditions, if you don't mind me asking? Do you drive with a very light foot, average, or like you stole it? Is most of your driving on the highway, in town, or off-road? Short trips, like me, or do you drive 50 miles to work? Do you have a 4wd or 2wd? 3.55s, 3.92s or something else? Does you engine have a lot of miles on it or has it been rebuilt?
Sorry to be so specific, but $600 plus tax and shipping is a large amount of money which could go towards other things, so I'm trying to find out all I can before I decide. Which I need to do soon, since I've got that wonderful oil leak in my manifold. Thanks, Dodge.
Edit. OK, I got to snooping and looked in your profile to see your truck. Looks nice by the way. I've always been partial to blue. Anyway, I saw you have a 5.2 and I saw your mileage log. Man, I thought I kept good track of my mileage. I wonder if putting it on a 5.2 had any effect on the mileage gains they claim for it. I wouldn't think it would drop you down to a 1 mpg gain, regardless. Makes me think twice about getting it. That and the price tag. Sheesh.

I drive it like I stole it, usually trips 10 to 15minutes, fairly even mix of highway and street b/c that's the only way you can get around in the metroplex.

Intake had a great performance gain for me, but I've done several other things to the truck to make it perform better and that probably enhance the results I'm seeing from the intake.

If you're truck is stock, I'd say the best gain you could do for the truck as far as intake goes is mod the kegger. There's a thread about it written by silver_dodge and it had some really good pic and description.

Yeah, I'm back down to 13 after my F.I. Air Gap. Was around 14-15 but I also threw on some M.T.s with steel rims for the summer to give the A.T.s a break. It is hard to stay out of it because of the improved throttle response and low end torque. It took about 300 miles before I really noticed it. Also noticed I quit going through oil.

that is another good point. It's a permanent fix to the plenum gasket problem.

Heads are great, no cam...yet.

Looking at buying a cam that's all torque and HP down low in the daily driving range. I don't go to the track with this thing, so I might as well have fun around town. KRC has an "RV" cam they've been fooling with that looks very promising. Marty said they can even grind the cam to work with the 1.7 RR I have, so I wouldn't have to buy adjustables.

Hopefully it's just the cam and lifters, and I might be able to get that next month.
