Get some Bilstein's and be done with it. You will pay more... but, like always, you get what you pay for.

I have the ES9000 and I really don't care for them too much at all. The ride is way too stiff! I have an extended cab with a fiberglass topper and 37" tires on it and it is still too stiff! I was talked into this after reading all of the reviews on this forum giving praise to the Bilsteins. I should've known to stick with my gut feeling and go with what my fellow Ram owners had been recommending. 4WheelParts in Tampa had sworn by the ProComps and said they would sell me the "over-priced" Bilsteins if I really wanted to waste the money. They convinced me to save the cash and I am sorry for it. I will definitely spend the extra and get the Bilsteins when I replace the ES9000s.

I went with the Bilstein HD's a couple weeks ago on my '98. At the time, Summit was offering a buy-3-get-1-free special, and I managed to get free shipping if I bought a qualifying product. The Bilstein's were not qualifying, but the $5 thermostat I bought was! So, I got 4 Bilstein's and a t-stat for $215.

Either way, it's a big heavy truck with a solid front axle. They ride rough no matter what. If you want a soft ride, get IFS.
