Oh yeah. Sorry I didn't mention that. You can rotate it backward enough to get the rope out but don't rotate it too far in the wrong direction. I say wrong direction because the rings have seated to rotating one direction and if you rotate it the wrong way you could theoretically break a ring by hanging it on a cylinder wall or do other damage.

 

If you remove all of yout plugs it make the engine easier to turn over.
