Default erg pic

can someone help me out for a sec?

I called one of the shops about the Hughes FI Airgap and he said it would only work for engines without the erg.

I've got a '99 dodge ram 1500 with 5.9L, Im under the impresssion that the FI air gap will bolt straight on. I need to know if the FI Airgap will work on my engine or if someone can take pics of erg intake so i can compare.

You can just delete the egr system IIRC. And btw, I highly doubt a 99 has the egr anyway.

thats what i thought too, i told the engine shop it was in a '99... and he really wasnt all that helpful.. so it made me question it?

edit: i called hughes engines - figured id go to the ppl that designed the FI Airgap. They stopped using the EGR valve with the OBII system which was in '96 roughly... so im back on track

I thought so, maybe some early 97's might have it, but other than that no way.
