My 97 just threw this code.

 

Wouldnt the output speed sensor afftect 1st and 2nd also? Just curious im dealing with slipping when it tries and shift 3rd and 4th setting off codes, just replaced the electronic part and the entire vavlebody assy. From an RFE that was supposedly pulled out of a wrecked running driving vehicle not sure which exactly. Before i did that it had no gear at all and set off 4 codes..

 

The RFE is a completely different trans than what they were dealing with in this thread.

 

No worries but i did swap mine and first now kicks in when you down shift into 1st so i did help some in my case lol
