there is no effect on power or how the engine runs just this dam tap tap. I will try running some cleaner throw at the next fill up $$.

I was thinking valves but the sound is the same at all RPMs if it was the valves wouldn't it change with the RPM?

could you hold the camera close to the center of the valve cover and rev the engine gradually to 2000rpm and post another video?

If the sound doesn't change throughout the rpm range then I would say injectors for sure, but another video with changing rpm levels would definitely help like LV said.

The injectors function in direct relation to RPM just like valve train components.

so what does it mean when you hear a similar ticking noise only when accelerating???

better not be, engine was rebuilt 4k miles ago and it was doing it then

it's not a pinging noise it sounds almost like that guy's video but only when i press the pedal. and the plenum is brand new, i watched the guy put it back together.
