When you are doing the ignition thing, when you are turning it to the on position for the 3rd time, you are leaving it 'on' right? It should flash the codes in the odo. with the key switch on. Can try the method dodge1500 said, I've never used that but guessing it's the same thing.

 

Yeah I'm leaving it on but all it shows is my current trip reading. Do I have to have it on the odometer reading for it to work? Maybe your 01 is different than my 99 in this area.

 

Not sure, I thought it worked on all of them with the digital odo. Mine is on trip and it works fine. Did you try what Dodge said?
