Exclamation Engine swap from a 318 to 360

I have a 94 ram 1500 with a 5.2 318 with 185,000 miles. I want to convert the truck to a 5.9 360. I know i have to change the computer, harness, and trany. Can i still use my transfer case or do i need to match one up with the new trany. Is it worth for me to swap engines or just to rebuild the orignal engine.

I own a 96 ram with a 318. If I ever planned to put money into performance of the engine, the first thing I would do is swap my 318 for a 360. If you are not going to do anything with the 360, I would keep the 318 and save yourself some time and money.

Basically, the 360 has more potential, but the stock 360 does not produce much more power than the stock 318.

As far as the transfer case, I really don't have any idea, sorry.

As long as you get a 1994 360ci, you don't have to change the transfer case or tranny, IIRC. Both the 318ci and the 360ci used the 46RH transmission.
