I also heard they didnt sound good. Just what I heard; haven't experienced one myself.

 

If you're talking about the center console box, believe it's only a single 10 in the stealth box from JL. I have never heard anyone say they weren't happy with it though. I built my box along the same lines and it is awesome, so assuming the JL is at least as good.
