I have been thinking off ripping out the carpeting (let's face it, it is crap to begin with) and using the roll in herculiner on my truck. I have asked a few other guys around Hawaii, and they think it is a good idea, but I want to get an idea from a few of you guys. By the way I have just logged in, but have been looking at this site for some time, and I am impressed with the knowledge level on our trucks here.

 

a friend of mine has an 08 and he just did that to his, the only issue he had was a couple wires on the floor. he got some convolute and wrapped them in it, of course you could roll the herculiner over any wires, make sure you follow the directions, that stuff won't stick to any shiny smooth surfaces.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same, however the only wires I have are some speaker coax for a box that used to be in the back of the truck. So I might just remove them al together or roll over it.

 

It is used by lots of offroad guys in all kinds of vehicles. That way they can just hose out their interior.

 

it would make your truck smell for a little but thats a good idea
