i have a 4 way trailer wire harness and am looking to splice into tail lights. Where is the best spot to do this and anyone have the color codes for tail lights? Even a diagram would be nice. I have been searching the net for days now with no luck. Any input would be muchly appreciated. Thank you

it has full wiring diagrams.

fastest way is to buy the adapter kit with the dodge plugs. just unplug tail lights and plug in the kit.
otherwise, check the manual, and then probe it to be sure.

i'm not sure if you asked this question or not.
4 way wiring colors.
yellow - left blinker (like the yellow line on your left)
green - right blinker (like the green grass on your right)
brown - tail light (like the color of your dirty underwear)
white - ground. nothing clever to add here.

took a look at the manual but I am still confused. Is there no easy diagram that tells me what wires from the 4 way connector to splice into what wires in my trucks tail lights? If so that would be great. Thanks
