I have a friend on here that has the same BF tires, and we swears stay away from them. Said that anytime there is any kind of dampness on the pavement, you have to watch the tires, they will break loose, but he is a 3rd gen 1500 too so that may be a little bit of difference...

oh and that WAS the wrong cooper model, right tread pattern, but different speed range. We are looking at the LT version that has a speed rating of 120.

My friend has them on his toyota and he hates them. He says they don't clean very well there loud of all terrains and general grabber at2 are just about the same tire for half the cost. The reviews on tirerack.com are about them same but why pay 2X the cost of just the name? The bfg's got 3.5 out of 5 and the generals got a 4 out of 5. But if you want to spend the extra cash go for it! By all means don't let me stop you. When it comes down to it I think its all about what you like more.

I think I am going to get the Generals for my S-10. 4 205/75/R16s from Tire rack is $308. I bet I can go to my local guy and get them cheaper. I am going to love having A/Ts on my 2WD S-10.

Does anybody know about Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts?

Well, after a few days of heated discussion on the tire subject, I went had a new set put on this morning.
They are Hankook Dynamic Z36.

Picture:

Already put about 100 miles on them today, and first impressions are kinda mixed. They ride like a damn car, and are silent....
Here are some other pics of them on the truck.

And this is what came off of them today.

And sorry J4, I didnt roast the tires off before I took them in to be changed. I am fearing a tranny problem is coming my way, and didn't want to accelerate the problem.

I didn't have a penny... gave it to the tire guy along with that quarter...
The total price wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be... was $598.17 including road hazards, mount and balance, and the tires. Tires themselves were like 137 something....

That is a good price considering my 265 Wrangler TD tires were $700. Ended up costing me $1000 because of bad wheel bearings.

I have the Cooper Discoverer H/Ts on mine 275/60/20. They ride smooth. Good tires in my opinion.

That is what I may get instead of the BFGs. Keep me updated on how many miles you get out of them. That is my purchasing factor.
