Default ok so i need some help anybodys input?

Alright i have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.5 inch lift and 35" BFG All-Terrains i got 98k on the clock and she runs absolutely amazing. Not one stitch of rust under the doors or on the pinch welds where these normally rust, theres absolutely none. Black Mickey Thompson rims, custom exhaust one in front and one in back of rear tire with Camaro SS rectangular tips welded on, Edelbrock pro-flo intake, Accell 8mm wires and double platinum plugs. Truck is extremely clean inside and out, interior has charcoal gray middle (had to get rid of the ugly multicolor) and stock grey outsides of the seat looks pretty good. 4 month old triple pillar gauge pod Trans Temp, Air/Fuel ratio, Boost gauges all wired and hooked up, and a trans temp light also put in next to the trans temp gauge just incase. Dual batteried, Trans flushed about 2k ago replaced with Mopar ATF+4 shifts absolutely great , front and rear diff fluids have been changed, ALWAYS ran Royal Purple 10-30 in it and a Mobil 1 or Purolater Pure1 oil filter. Bed rails painted black, De-badged doors. Usually wash the truck once every other week and clay bar, compound, and wax it once every 2-3 months. Never towed with it besides a street bike in the bed twice which is like 480 pounds.

so the deal is im looking to sell it or trade it for a 2500 diesel 4x4 and im trying to get a feel to see how much you guys think i could get the truck is in perfect shape, never beat on and driven as a daily driver. please give me some prices of what you guys think i could get for it or if anybody has a diesel they wana trade?! thanks alot guys!

probably 3500-4500. The problem with a truck like that is all the mods you have do it. People like us can have an understanding that you take care of your truck, but the onlookers that will be looking at your ride will think you have used and abused it. 9 times out of 10 a stock truck will sell better than a modded one.

Oh I know I am not saying otherwise. I just have been in the position of trying to get rid of a lifted truck before. It was a clean 03 f-150, and no matter what I told people that looked at it, they still assumed that it had been driven hard.
Went to a junkyard and found a stock suspension for it, installed it, and sold it with in 2 weeks. Put the tuff country lift on ebay, and sold it too.

nada.com. Minus some money because of the lift. If you're handy, putting the stock suspension back on and selling the lift separately might be better, unless you're selling it to a dumb kid that just wants a lifted truck.

Lifts usually put some strain on other parts, so even if you didn't drive it rough, parts will be worn more than a stock truck, generally.

Also keep in mind that a diesel engine adds a lot to the price tag. I paid 8k for my truck, it blue books for over 9k, even with 270,000 miles.

Do a search on Ebay and see what they are going for. Noticed lifted Rams seem to pull a decent price there. Probably a truck you need to consider using something like an ebay to advertise, since a lift and 35's isn't for everyone. Sure most kids will want it, but most kids won't have the cash to buy it.
