I used stage 8's on my headers. They seem more expensive than what they should be (you'll see what i mean when you get them.) They do the trick so I guess they are worth it. 6month and smooth sailing with my headers.

They are the best thing to buy for headers. I don't care what pc says. I wouldn't do headers without them

I wouldn't want to either... but just saying for the 8 bolts and some aluminum teardrop don't equal what they should cost in my opinion. Thats all. That said.... the other options arn't much different in price. If I had to do it all over again, I'd look into a set of percy's header bolts.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...6&autoview=sku

The reason? well with the stage 8's, you have to get the bolt perfectly aligned to put the teardrop on and it should rest on the pipe so the bolts cant physically back out. Well that means some might be tightened more than others just to make the tear drop work for that bolt. Your not going to say... oh well the teardrop almost fits if i back the bolt out a hair. Instead you tighen it down more to make it work. With these you tighen the bolts down as tight as needed, then use an allen head wrench to spred the bolt. That means all are equally tightened, and theoretically should work equivelent to the stage 8's. Oh, I shouldn't forget to mention that a few of the teardrops will need to be modified to fit so it isn't even completely bolt on and go for our trucks. I had to grind four or so down. While it really isn't a big deal, it is something else to mention about the stage 8's. Let me know what you end up getting.

I have used them for a few years and they are a pain. Had to modify them to fit and I still had leaks and blown gaskets. Wait till you try to take a clip off and it goes flying across the garage! FUN! I wont buy them again. In my opinion they didnt work very well. What pcfixerpro said about them is all very true! I will try the percys next time.

If you go easy on them and use pliers you won't have a problem getting them off. Also if you get good gaskets you shouldn't have a problem
