Default Air Gap installed

sorry to all you guys, i was going to get dyno #'s before and after the install, but the dynos around me were already set back a few weeks, plus funds are a little low right now so i wont be able to get you any gained horsepower numbers, i do plan on getting ont he dyno soon so you can compare those numbers to a stock 5.2... but i must say the intake is bad ***! the throttle felt better, and as soon as im about 1800 rpms it just starts pulling and i love the new power. i only put it on yesterday so i have a few days for the pcm to fully relearn and ill figure up the mpgs so i can give a better testimonial..ill post intalled pics when i get back to my computer! so far its a mod i would do again, and recommend to others.

Congrats on the install and I'm glad you like the Air Gap. I love mine also and it is much better than the stock kegger. You will love the extra passing power it provides and it really excels in the mid to upper range. Give it a week for the pcm to learn this mod and you'll see a greater difference in performance. Once again congrats and keep us posted.

I am glad you like the Intake. I am also glad to hear the same thing that I have been telling people. I love mine as well, enjoy the mpg gain on the highway. I am curious to see if you get any gain around town, I didn't really notice a big difference.

Nice. Keep us posted.
If my intake ever starts to leak again, i plan to go that route. But i'm happy with the modded intake for now.

Did you relocate your IAT sensor? What did you fill that hole with? Also, I have an extra cooling temp sensor hole to the right of the thermostat housing. Did you plug that one also?

well i am waiting on another good highway trip since its been over a week but with some mixed driving on a full tank i gained about 70 miles on the tank, i havent figured up exact mpgs yet just because i havent had the perfect oppourtunity but 4 days after the install i had 70 miles extra on the full tank. so it helped! later this week i am doing a 97% interstate trip so ill let you know as for the power....WOW it is amazing
