He's a bit of a troll and deffinetly a post *****, but he's not nearly as annoying as neon.

I have never actually wanted to jump throgh the computer and kick someone in the head for being a retard like I did when that kid opened his mouth. And he'd always found a way to justify the stupid **** he said and did instead of just admitting he ****ed up hard. Thank God he wasn't into hunting or mountain climbing or anything perilous. He would not have survived.

question on the "turn the ignition key for a few seconds" part....you mean turn ignition to start position and hold for 20-30?

i have read several different methods, just trying to figure out what works and what is ****e advice!

The ignition should be in the position it would be in if the truck was running.

and it says 20-30 seconds, but I always give it at least 5 minutes to be sure. Probably not necessary, but I'd do it anyway.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory (i.e viper), irrelevant or off-topic messages (i.e. you) with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

 

From what i've read, you actually turn the ignition key to the full start position, i.e. not the point it is sitting in when the truck is running but the point you turn it to to actually start the truck. Hold it there for 20-30 seconds. That's how i've always done it.

I've also read that turning on your lights for a couple minutes while the battery is disconnected will do it, but the starter method is probably best.

 

I believe that if you disconnect the neg cable before you start the work on the plenum(which should be done anyway) and reconnect when you're ready to start her up. that will be ample time for the computer to reset. The key thing is for a quick reset.
