Gas gauge tango
Thanks for bringing this thread back up. I was going to update it to say that I put in a bottle of the Techron Plus with about 10 gallons left in the tank. Drove it about 100 miles down to near empty and refilled. The gauge appears to be working fine now.

Mine gage has been doing this for a while also... but some times it takes months before doing it again. Maybe I will give the Techron Plus a whirly too.

I can tell it is working differently because before when I would start the truck the needle would swing to full then back to empty before stabilizing or misreading. Now, it simply goes to a spot and stays there.
