Default Nothing like a clean ditch and a good hoe.. kinda o/t

My weekend project was to clean out a ditch behind my house. I rented a ditch witch MX352 mini excavator from the local rental house. Little did I know the thing weighed 9,500# plus the buckets and trailer! I used my Superchips tuner and set it to tow mode and what a difference! It was a little hard to stop with no trailer brakes. but I used a combination of slowing down way before the stop lights and down shifting/pumping the brake to keep the cool. The truck performed like a champ! Pictures and a movie in the link below!

That thing is about as level as Purpl hooked up to the 7,000lb camper with a wt. distributing hitch.

Looks like fun. I applied for an operator job for heavy equipment. Don't you do highway work? You should have a good idea of how much that machine weight.

I work with asphalt... not everyday do I use a excvator... I figured it'd be around 3 ton...not 5!

well at the time.. I din't have my stands because a friend had not returned them! so it's the best I could have done at the time! lol

looks like ya did a good job balancing the load
i have problem with my trailer and balancing, its too short, but im gonna get a gooseneck prolly this summer, and that will take care of it
