When my tires were bad, you could feel a "shake" left and right when driving down a smooth road under 10 MPH. When my U joints were bad, i heard clunking. Hope you figure out what the problem is.

Mine is doing the same thing, It is in my garage on jack stands getting new upper and lowere ball joints. My uppers were not so bad but my loweres were toast. I am replacing all 4 because it is a real pain in the A**, but I still love my Ram.

Mine (96 dodge ram 1500 sport) was doing the same thing.
Only at a certain speed like yours.

I knew my left front tire is wearing of weird, but today i found out that wasn't the problem.
I was driving and the rumbling became louder and my axle fell off!!! After that it was all hell underneath my car...
Now i have to find a new u-joint. (Does someone know where i can order this?)

Luckily it was the rear, if it would have been the front i maybe couldn't tell you this.
So i'm really scared and my advice: fix them fast!!!

I really hate my ram right now, this was the last thing it does to me. I'm going to fix everything and that's it. It has costed my thousands of dollars over the years.
When i see some guys taking it to the woods or driving in mud i always think, i can't do that with mine, it's going to fall apart...

Well i've seen every problem a ram can have, i think, one time it almost went up in flames!

Well when it's fixed and i do drive it sometimes, i know for sure if i hear any sound i'm gonna think: what now?

But i still love dodge so we were already talking about buying a 2010 ram 1500 laramie. (maybe my car heard us talking?)
