i wanted to make note that i did all the steps for the Heavy Duty Shift Kit. I also put both of the orifice plugs in. The one in the case listed for 727 and the one next to the 3-4 accumulator. Wondering if either of these would have anything to do with it?

Ok thank you very much! Remove the office plug that is put in the case that notes to be only used in the "727"? That part of the instructions confused me because i know the case is the same design as the 727 for the 46re transmission. So i was confused about whether or not to put it in or not.

Yea i didn't know what else exactly to get. Kinda figuring things out as i go with these trucks a little bit. For future reference what is a better route to go for a shift kit? Also, i still have the bands adjusted at backing the front one off 2 turns after being torqued. When i remove that steel orifice plug would you recommend changing it back to 2 7/8 of a turn or just leave it?? Thanks for all your help MonteC.

Put the front adjustment to 2 1/2 turns.
