Was driving awhile ago and heard a ticking noise on passanger side. Its a constant tick and idk if it stops.... I just noiticed it again as i drove over a bridge in town(guessing the sound is bouncing off the side walls???)))) Not loud, sounds like its coming from whell area...

Any idea of what it is...

check for a rock in the tires, mine occassionally does this when i leave the farm and get a small stone stuck in the tire, i hear it when i slow down

 

Lose exhaust fittings come to mind, could be something in the cab or work box.

 

Seeing that you have a lift, it could very well be a bad U joint.

I agree with Laramie I had a noise simular o this but mine also had a spinning sound as well. I just replaced the u-joints on mine and it solved it. Give the DS a good shaking and you may hear the DS pinging or moving from more than normal. Mine were shot all roller bearing on the inside of the cap in the front were dust.

 

+1 on the u-joints. i have the same problem, but i'm too lazy to fix them yet...lol

 

i figured it was the ball joints.

I sometimes get a wobble at about 40 mph.

What price would you guys expect to pay to fix this....Myself of course
