Broke the first bolt but I figure no big deal I can drill it and easy out or left hand drill it out. Small stuff right. then I drill it chase the threads and go to put shaft back in to find out that the u-joint had hammered the yoke to the point that it is useless after all the drilling and taping. Yay me. So anyway since I am way off topic I apologize for my being ignorant to anyone.
don't ya just hate them days
reminds me of one of our irrigation systems, brand new, first time we started it, the new John Deere diesel fired right up, but someone assembling the pivot tower on the irrigation forgot to put in the seal that keeps water from spraying out where the irrigator pivots, ****
we have Valley out to fix that, we get it running, go to start it walking, and on irrigations like ours, the booster pump for the end gun is kicked on when the system is started walking, anyway, we start it walking, and the endgun didn't work quite right, coons had packed corn stalks and chit in the end pipe when it was on the ground before assembly

all that while it was 90 + outside, and the corn needed water badly FML

We all have those days. I had one of those days today. Sat night I said hey I felt like going to the river and fishing and going on a couple hr float. This morning we pack everything up and leave at 9 I take my truck and im meeting couple people at our spot. So far my day was going well I pulled in and kinda came to a hard stop and wouldnt you know my brake pedal went to the floor got out and looked around and saw that I blew my main rear brake line. We had no tools and were out in the middle of no where no cell service either so a 45 mile trip that normally takes about 50min took 2 1/2 hrs I just barely had front brakes. Ruined my whole day only up side is I get a new brake line.

crappy pic but pretty much my top speed and plus it was sunday so I was just another one of those slow drivers. New record abs, brake and check engine light all in the same day.

i had that happen on school road once, brake torqued it, somehow the brakes held thru a 30 second burnout, but when i went to stop after rolling forward with traffic, the petal went to the floor, same brake line, its still back there, i just routed a new one around the right side of the fuel tank

You guys need Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses!

I can put all my lights on when I turn the key to "on". I swear every time I go to start it up it scares the living **** out of me! Then I remember that it is just a bulb check! Whew!

My record is:
Parking brake
Check Engine (forgot to re-connect AIT sensor)
Low Wash Fluid
Low Fuel
4WD

Don't sweat it. I've been sitting around all day in pain. Yesterday at the motocross track I got blown over (wind gusts of 25mph) doing a jump I do all the time. Bike went sideways and I hit hard on my left side. Nothing broken, just bruised and swollen, but at 50 anytime I hit the ground it hurts. Here's a video of the track from a different day. It's the jump at the 21 second mark (I'm Rick, #87) and again at 1:19 and 1:42.

I hope to be less grumpy tomorrow, but I doubt it.
