well forget the throttle body spacer(it does nothing)

frist check the Plenum gasket (if bad replace) and good tune up.. then start the bolt ons

14x3 round air cleaner
fastman 52mm tb
exhaust 3in single with high flow cat(or no cat)
1.7 rolloer rockers

that will get you started........... how many miles you have on the truck?

"new transmission" how much money you got? they got sum bullet poof trans online,,, if not you should put in a shift kit

What about putting the air gap intake on instead of just fixing the plenum? That would be a hop up and a repair in one.

Go to http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/p...=&partid=24773

This is the preferred method of circumventing the plenum repair and gain some power in the midst as well. the plenum is a metal plate that bolts to the underside of the intake on the kegger(factory) intake. It is nothing more than a plate and gasket but if it is leaking you will burn oil and your mileage will go down the toilet even farther than where it is now.

I just did my tune up two days ago and put in MSD street wires pn5551. They are black with white lettering. I also put in Mr. Gasket wire looms to keep the wires from arching against eachother and the Napa BRASS cap and rotor. What a huge difference. Now my truck really needed it since the PO never did any kind of maintenance or repairs to the truck but wow. I wanted to try the E3 plugs but couldn't afford the extra 60 bucks at the time. I also want to give the Mallory cap and rotor a shot but again short on funds. Just a few ideas to get you goin.

MSD Street Fire wires ($40 @ Autozone) and some Champion Truck plugs. Also, switch the distributor cap and rotor to a Brass one from NAPA. This is what I run (minus the plugs; I need to change those) and it works great.

Speeddemon you are quick!

This is the cheaper method of circumventing the plenum repair. the plenum is a steel plate that bolts to the underside of the aluminum intake on the kegger(factory) intake. It replaces the factory plate with an Aluminum one. It is nothing more than a plate and gasket, but if it is leaking you will burn oil and your mileage will go down the toilet even farther than where it is now.
Almost....Fixed it for ya.

LOL. Great minds think alike and so do ours Purpl. Hey Purpl I gotta take some pics tomorrow of how I did the wire looms. It was 18 bucks for two sets to do it right but no chance of ever cross firing through the wires and it looks sharp too.
