Default ....*looks left*.....*looks right* I'm losing oil.... just don't know where.

Okay so I am noticing that I seem to be losing 2 quarts of oil after 3k miles. Don't know where its going, because im not smoking at all, and I can't smell it in the exhaust. I have no leak, oil pan is bone dry.

I was thinking maybe my Plenum gasket is bad, and I am slowly but surely burning it over time. Any ideas?

Use the other method for the plenum check; just looking down the TB isn't fool proof.
Your not smelling it in the exhaust, but have someone drive it and see if you are getting some smoke.
Also, you might try parking on concrete, or putting some cardboard underneath your truck over night to make sure its not dripping from some where...

Valve cover gaskets like to leak at the back of the heads and run down to the exhaust and burn off oil. I had that and was a simple fix. Do you see any oil on the outside of the motor or underneath at all? You might have to lean over the engine to see it at the back of the engine.

You have a random Neighborhood kid running round at night with syphon hose slowly sucking oil out of all the cars and truck ont he street.

That would be my 82nd guess.

Well, I'll tell you this much. If you think it's the gremlins, you're wrong because you think it first. Plus they chew wires and cause shorts. If you think it's something simple, you're wrong, it's gremlins, and you won't realize it until you check every single thing, including your horn, blinker fluid, muffler bearings, everything.

reminds me of when i went to start a tractor that had not run in 20 years, it started right up after a battery and starting fluid, and a mouse nest came boiling out of the stack!!! it stunk like old gas, starting fluid, and mouse in the shed lol
