what's that big gauge next to the speedo?(RPM X 1000???)
and i think its a good spot for one if you have a loud exhaust so you can hear rpm changes since you won't see them anymore.
I do the majority of my web surfing from the comfort of my couch with my laptop. Even at 1280X800 those pics bleed off the screen. 800X600 is plenty large enough for pics on the web. That's just common courtesy. BTW, I have 2 of those Acers 22"ers on my workstation. I edit HD video with them.

And, I thought I was going to see What is a "tach" I really really did.
I have a garmin that I keep in the windshield all the way to the left, because I am left handed it's easier to just reach up and tell it where to take me. Even when I am not traveling to a place I havent been before I still have it on the trip screen that shows moving time, stopped time, average speed, and top speed.
Oh, and Stewie from Family Guy is the voice for mine.
I got mine mounted on ,,, Well, what to me is the obvious place.
Couldn't give up the tach like that, and am not much for in your face gadgets while driving.
Has the potential to be a hazardous distraction there, cops might be able to write you up a ticket too, just like they can do for in your face DVD players people drive around with.
I found that the GPS mount would not stay for any length of time on anything plastic, but you could hardly pry if off of glass.
So I got a little round mirror disc, slightly larger than the base of the mount, got some strong double stick tape and stuck the glass disc on the plastic, this thing has never fell off in months.
Actually I omitted a step, I used JB weld to stick the plastic disc that comes with these mounts to the truck, then I sticky taped the glass to that - The suction cup of the mount locks on with a death grip to that.
I also have it wired straight into a key on power supply, so thats one less dangling cord I have to worry about.
Accessible enough to program with ease, fairly large display so I can see it at a glance, and has turn by turn guidance anyhow.
Dang, never noticed how badly in need I am of a carpet clean until looking at it in high res.
Never noticed those scorch marks under the lighter either, must be from little shards of hots dribbling out over the years.
