Default Need Help - 2002 Dodge Ram stalls

I have a problem with my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 liter. It dies after it reaches normal operating temperatures (about 15 minutes of run time). The Tach (RPM needle move erratically, fuel pump relay switches on/off (fuel pump turns on/off) and you can hear the injectors clicking after it dies. I have pulled random codes off of the ECM ranging from the ESS, Crank Position Sensor, O2 sensor, etc. I have check the fuel pressur - okay, replaced the Crank Sensor and verified the O2 sensors are working properly.
I have recently discovered once it dies you can pull the Cam Postion Sensor harness and the injectors stop clicking, etc. Everytime it dies if you pull the positive terminal from the battery or unplug fuse number 20 (ignition run/stop) you can restart the truck in about 5-10 minutes. It will blow white smoke unless you immediately pull the fuel pump relay or turn the key off.

I was going to replace the cam position sensor next?

That did it ..........it was the cam position sensor. Truck runs great.

Might have better luck in the 3rd gen forum since your truck is a 2002. Not many (any?) guys in here with the 4.7 since it wasn't offered in our trucks.
