Default 1.7 rr and guideplates?

Do you still use your factory guide plates when installing the H.S. 1.7 rr? Or do I ditch the guides and let it ride? I ask because the spacer for the bottom of the rocker stud bolt does not fit in my guide.

No guideplates. The shafts between the pairs of rockers eliminates the need for them.

+1, and keep all the old stuff lined up the way it came off, for that very reason. The box the 1.7's came in works great for the old ones. I took them off and put them in the box correctly and marked the box FRONT so I knew the direction. Then I used the wife's food saver and a large bag to seal them up so they wont rust. LOL
