Does anyone see anything wrong with me cutting off the pice of steel on the new block? I will post a pick of the block when dad leaves for work. He doesn't know about the lift. Any problems with me cutting it off?
He meant piece.

Leave it there. It prevents the block from being dislodged from between the u-bolts. If you've ever seen a truck lose a block (I have) it is not pretty.

Ok. Most blocks are just block. They don't have that pice of steel of to the side.

And like I told you before, young grasshopper, these are not aftermarket blocks. These are factory blocks. Most blocks you see are aftermarket.

Is this actually a 10 page thread on installing a 2 inch lift? I wonder how long the pittman arm thread will go.

...Walks off singing "It's the end of the world and we know it"...

From a post on page 9:
"Does anyone see anything wrong with me cutting off the pice of steel on the new block?"

I think he was indeed talking about aftermarket blocks.
