Not to mention Wild Irish Rose.

Pretty deep gash, and a perfect arch too, as you might imagine.
6 years later I still feel so stupid turning it on like that ,,, Like I couldn't have guessed that would happen ? Sheesh.
Anyways I tend to agree with speeddemon that its perhaps best a job left for a glass pro, I thought there might be some home brew method worth a shot.
Maybe I should check that flea market and see if that guy is still hanging out weekends there, he usually looks so bored hes glad to chat with anyone about anything.

I'll post a pic of it tomorrow if I can get an angle on it that makes it visible.

Its not too bad for the driver, looking at it on an angle makes it all but invisible.
If that happened on the drivers side I would have done something about it long ago.
But yeah, it is generally unsightly, and a nuisance for the passenger.

Well I can't tell how deep it is from the pics but I have seen them like that before. It really looks like you are gonna be looking at getting a new windshield. sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I would say at best that a shop might be able to make it a little less noticeable but it will still be there for sure.

I've lived with it for 6 years, I think I can go a little longer.
New windshield is not on the horizon.
I look at it as being part of my trucks personality.

There ya go. Just don't ride in the passenger seat=problem solved. Seriously though you could try and take it to a glass shop and see what they think as I am not a glass repairman. I only have knowledge of what I have seen done at my buddies shop. Maybe they have something they could use to get it out? At the very least it wouldn't cost you anything for them to look at it.
