Default Crank Sensor PITA!!!

You all will be happy to know my Crank sensor crapped out.
Man what a PITA to change!
1 1/2 hours later of what looked like me makin love to the engine and its changed.
My arms are pretty scraped up though...
I had forgotten how heinous they are to change. Thank the lord my truck doesn't have an EGR.

what does a crapped out Crank Pos sensor do to a truck ?

It won't run or if it manages to run it won't run worth a crap. Think of a vehicle that actually has adjustable timing and imagine turning the distributor about 20* bdtc. That kind of bad.

It makes it sit in your driveway for a few weeks as a giant paper weight...
No spark = no run

O it ant to bad i put one in my 98 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9 gas to day and it took like 10 min's to put it in.. And my truck steel wont run.. And it has a new timming chain that was put in like Yesterday.. And a new pick up in the Destribiter, And new plugs, wires, Cap ,Rotor bug, Dont know what else to do to it.. LoL.. LoL..
