Default 01 RAM vibration

My 01 Ram has a vibration ( feels like the whole truck) at 45 mph. I had just put on new tires. The garage had to heat the rear rims and hit them off with a rubber dead blow hammer. Any ideas?

The wheels were rusted to the truck?
It would help if you could pinpoint front or rear. Otherwise you can replace everything between your motor mounts to your shackles.

The rear wheels were rusted to the hub. I can feel the vibration a little bit all the time but mostly around 45 mph.

they heated the rear wheels? steel or aluminum? what did they use to heat it? New tires can cause a vibration if they arent balanced right. even cheap or low quality tires will do it.

They are steel wheels. They used a torch. New tires are General Grabbers at2.

is it possible that they put so much heat on them that the wheel flanges warped?

They fit tight to the hub and don't wobble when putting on the lugs.

I'd start with getting them to rebalance them.

A vibration at 45 and it is the whole truck sounds like a bent rear wheel. That wouldn't be out of the question since you said that had to heat and beat. I would take them back and have them put them on the balancer and see how they roll. It will either be a bent wheel or seriously out of balance. Another possibility is that there is scale and rust built up and they didn't seat properly. Again, something that they will see on the balancer. If you are feeling it in the rear they must be seriously messed up. If you want to be sure it is the rear, swap them to the front. The steering wheel should jump around like a bucking bronco.

I did rotate back to front. The problem did not change. Is it possible something got bent in the rear end when they took the rear wheels off?
