If you think you have it bad...This will make you feel better. We all have old trucks that have little problems here and there, and require maintenance. Best part is they are generally good trucks and are PAID FOR. Imagine buying a 35K truck and having problems. Well. I was wandering about the interweb and came across this post:

I just called my dealer where i bought my 09 ram and there is a recall on all the followin:

1) Keyless remote entry (problem with the actual key)
2)mufflers (clogging up and restricting flow)
3)computer (needs to be reflashed. will give better power, stop shaking at idol, and if anyone is having problems with there fuel saver light not coming on it will fix it)
4) motor sensor (not sure which one)
5) fuel tank pressure sensor (will make your check engine light turn on)

And the trucks are only a few months old. Makes you love your truck even more. I told you you'd be feeling better.

Meh, that's just par for course when you buy a vehicle on the first year od a model change. The 1995 Rams had the same issues (not quite, but still several issues) The 2002 Rams had problems of their own as well. It's not just Chrysler either. All car companies have problems with their first year model change.

and the tranny (torqshift) when it would downshift into 1st, when in Tow/Haul, would lock up and chirp the tires unloaded, had it happen to me, scared the **** outta me to

I'm so glad I'm way past that phase of ownership. When I got this truck, it was 2 years old and was perfect. Then the s*$& hit the fan so to speak. I've had every problem known to these forums and then some but ya know, its kinda like a marriage and now I wouldn't trade my truck for anything.
