I mean you're going to get about as much performance enchancement as you can get out of an air cleaner with it.

The biggest perk is probably how much space it doesn't take up in the engine bay, and the fact that it looks cool and sounds cool. It'll make your exhuast sound cooler. It will liven up your throttle response a bit. Actually power increase? I dunno. Probably like 4hp or something. Hard to say. Nothing to crap your pants over, but nothing that cost $40 ever is.
The faster and colder the air gets in engine the better....

Stock engines, not a big difference. Built engines, big difference.

As for why are there so many questions..people are stupid its why were all here lol. But really,.....search function guys.

I personally like the Flow Master intake better than the 14x3 or the stock intake. I will say the 14x3 opens up the engine bay nicely, and looks better longer, as the FM gets rusty over time. But I see way better bottom end with the FM intake. I think that has some thing to do with the dual 2 1/2" intake design.

Oh and btw! If any one decides to try the FM intake, the directions really suck. The pipes it comes with are WAY too long and are hard to get them through the fender well with out cutting some major holes. So I opted out on the intake tube's themselves, good thing though, because I think that also contributed to increase in bottom end.

See pic's of my setup below, and don't say it! I know I need to remove it and repaint. Almost forgot the best part, you never have to change the air cleaner again.

nice fm. how do you keep it still though, i don't see any mounting brackets. and how did this affect the sound in the engine bay?

The mounting is done from underneath. The clamp you see is mounting it to a special bracket , which is part of the installation kit provided for front and rear. I originally tried duct tape to mount it , but the duct tape just melted for some reason.

As far as sound goes, when it's cold it makes a deep rumbling noise (which I hate btw), but after it warms up, it makes no noise like the factory intake.

I'm sure the CB would be prone to rust also. I'm thinking I might get mine powder coated to solve the problem.

BTW, I kind of like the extra weight it provides to the right side that aide's in getting rid of the notorious Dodge left side lean.

cherry bombs are painted. so are thrush so rust shouldn't be an issue but they're a good deal longer than the flowmaster so fitment may be an issue.
