Default 14 inch round air cleaner question.

I noticed alot you you like the 14inch air cleaners and was kicking around th idea of putting one on. The question I had is how well does the truck run in the winter? As some of you know we get alot of snow here up north and it gets real cold. Thanks

I had PM'd SliverDodge about this when I installed mine and he informed me he hadn't had any issues. It doesn't get all that cold here, but we do have a couple three weeks of below freezing weather. I haven't had a problem. I might add my mileage dropped slightly ( in the winter) but there are other parameters in my truck that also may affect that.
Also our trucks draw in cold air from the fender hole and it isn't regulated like 70s-90s cars with exhaust manifold valves, you shouldn't have any issues. Your IAT and other sensors compensate.

Good vehicles are manufactured, great vehicles are built! Awesome vehicles are built by their owners! Not using decent grammar or spelling is inexcusable. You only illuminate the rest of the world's suspicions we are an over armed bunch of illiterate & intolerant bumpkins. I support the former, but the later is an embarrassment!

i fixed your sig for ya.

And you let it go this long...SHAME on you! But thanks for the corrective action.
And FYI, thats why I didn't use "perfect" grammar or spelling.

Doesn't seem to make any difference in the winter.

Another round air cleaner thread. How special. Maybe this one will also make it to 10+ pages.
