brakes should be good but i'll check it out. changed ball joints, pads ,rotors 2-3 months ago. I test drove for about 5 miles and when i got home same thing. Went in reverse and it went . back a few feet then stopped. Then I gave it more gas and it did go backwards but my rears were spinning a bit . I might pull front left wheel off first. I'll report back later
well I took off front tire and i am missing a bolt. I think it is the upper caliper adapter bolt. It is the thing that the shoes sit on and the caliper bolts to. Is that what is called ? I've been looking in my haynes manual. At least I know it is just a bolt . won't cost a bunch of $$$. That is very dangerous could have locked up at speed.
can't post good pic but it's the thing you put new shoes on and bolt the caliper to. You have to take it off to change rotor . It bolts to the spindle with 2 large bolts . I am missing 1
you are talking about the brake caliper pen right you can go to autozone and buy 2 new bolts and my 97 uses a 3/8 hex key to remove them and while your at it you might as well buy a brake hardware kit and replace everything lol just dont forget the brake lube

not those the caliper adapter bolt is what I need. the thing the brakes actually sit on. Not the caliper that squeezes them. The bolt is big. The other one has a head that is 13/16
