Default Self Test of Gages

I read on here once, where there was a procedure that you could do that the truck would do a self test of the gage movement, but forgot what the procedure was. Anybody recall?

Put key in. Hold the tab down tht switch form trip to over all miles. Hold that and turn key to the 2nd position. Do not start the truck. It will run a test and show any codes in the window.
