Default Help!-1998 Ram Oil Pressure Issue

Hey everyone.
Truck-1998 Ram 1500 (318) 4x4

I'm having some oil pressure issues. On certain days, the truck fires up and the oil pressure stays near 500 + - on the gauge. On other days it will fire up, but the oil pressure will constantly change. When accelerating the pressure builds to near 500, and will remain there while cruising, however when coasting or stopping, the oil pressure decreases to the 160-170, (not in the warning level) range on the gauge. The truck seems to still run fine no matter the pressure reading. Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas to what is wrong with the truck?

Thanks in advance.
