trying to get my clutch fan off as well. goingto try what sherriff did in the am. hopefully itll work, if not gonna drill the holes in some metal and use that instead.

Put a wrench on the nut and hit it with a hammer, it usually takes a few tries but always works for me.

My idea worked on my dads truck but not on mine. I grabbed a piece of flat steel and a couple pieces of dowel then made a wrench for it. The steel/bolt deal is a good one if you don't have a welder.

You can use a flat piece of 1” x 1/8" flat stock with just one hole in the end for the bolt, The bar will rest on the fan nut for the other rest point, you will have room in there for a wrench as well. A nylon strap wrench or a rubber one will work on the pulley as well.
